Our Team
Callum is a Fellow of CPA Australia, member of Taxation Institute of Australia and received a Bachelor of Business from the University of Central Queensland.
Callum commenced his career with DGL Accountants as a UCQ Graduate in 1994 and worked full time until 1999 when he and his wife moved to London, England for a three year working holiday.Callum returned to DGL in 2002 and became a Director on 1st July 2007. Throughout his career, Callum has worked diligently with a variety of clients (including primary producers, small to medium enterprises and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds) providing timely accurate taxation and business advisory services.
Callum also keeps up to date with I.T. in the accounting field including Accounting Software and Cloud Technologies.
Callum is active in the community and enjoys outdoor activities with his wife Kelly and family of three including soccer, camping and fishing.
Denise is a member of CPA Australia, a Public Practitioner, Registered Tax Agent, Registered SMSF Auditor and received a Bachelor of Business from Central Queensland University in Mackay.
Denise commenced her career at DGL Accountants in 2000 as a Graduate Accountant and became a Director on 1st July 2011.
Denise has extensive experience in taxation, business services, self-managed superannuation funds and auditing and she has a diverse portfolio of clients including those in Agricultural, Mining & Professional Services, Property Developers and Investors.
Denise is regarded highly by her clients for her attention to detail, efficiency and practical easy to understand taxation and business advice that helps clients achieve their goals.
Denise supports a number of charities and participates in several local community events. She enjoys spending time with family, reading and is on her second Brown belt in karate.
Natalie is a Fellow of CPA Australia, Registered Tax Agent, Registered SMSF Auditor and is JP Qualified. She received a Bachelor of Business from Central Queensland University.
Natalie commenced her career with DGL Accountants in 1999 as a Graduate Accountant and was appointed as a Director on 1st July 2007 at just 27 years of age.She has extensive experience in providing taxation, business advisory and superannuation advice to a vast range of clients. Her favourite aspect of working at DGL is being able to help clients save on tax and reach their financial goals.Natalie is highly regarded by her clients for her efficiency, attention to detail and pro-active approach to improving their business performance.Nat enjoys helping at her children's school and local sporting clubs. She loves going to the gym, keeping fit, playing hockey and spending time with her husband and 2 children.Rob is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Public Practitioner, Registered Tax Agent and received a Bachelor of Business from The Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education.
Rob joined DGL Accountants (formerly Douglas Gibb and Lewis) in 1990 and was appointed Director in 1991. Prior to this, Rob has worked in public accounting practices in Mackay and Brisbane since 1975.
He has an excellent understanding of the day to day operations and complexities of business and personal tax.
Rob is highly regarded for his unique style of working with clients to achieve appropriate strategic advice, innovative solutions and service excellence. He excels in strategic planning, business planning and business strategies and is proficient in new business development, tax and financial accounting.
Rob is a renowned member of the community and enjoys travelling, sailing and visiting wineries with his wife Janine.
Elizabeth graduated from Central Queensland University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Accounting and became a member of CPA Australia in 2012. She obtained a Limited Public Practice Certificate in 2016 and is also a Registered Tax Agent.
Lizzy commenced her career with DGL Accountants in 2004 as a Trainee Accountant and was appointed as a Director on 1st July 2018.Elizabeth has great knowledge in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and currently holds a limited licence certificate. She also has an excellent understanding of small business.Lizzy is highly regarded by her clients for going the extra mile and her approachable nature. She strives to bring excellence and integrity to every task at hand and thrives on building and maintaining strong relationships.Elizabeth loves to travel, having spent a year living in Ireland in 2006. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Nigel and their 3 children.Lauren commenced work with DGL in 2001. After graduating from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), she also undertook post graduate studies to become a CPA.
Having completed further studies in superannuation and Self-Managed Superannuation to meet the ASIC criteria to provide personal advice Lauren is an Authorised Representative of the SMSF Advisers Network Pty Ltd.
Lauren is actively involved in the community and her children’s school, enjoys spending time with family and exploring Mackay’s pristine coastline and national parks.
Amanda commenced her career in the accounting industry at DGL over 17 years ago and has travelled extensively working in Brisbane and London. Amanda graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant (CA).
Amanda specialises in taxation and small business advisory providing a wide range of accounting and tax services to a diverse client base.
She is an avid follower of all sports and loves to spend time with her husband and their growing family when not crunching the numbers.
Brianna joined DGL Accountants in May 2009. She has a Bachelor of Accounting and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
During her time at DGL, Brianna has become proficient in various types of Accounting Software. She has a wide range of experience in Business Advisory and Taxation Services and has worked with a variety of industries with clients in both the Mackay and outer regions.Brianna has formed well-rounded relationships with her clients and team mates and is highly approachable, always putting in 110% and willing to help.
Max has been with DGL Accountants since moving to Mackay from the Gold Coast in 2011. He graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
Max works closely with a variety of small to medium businesses and individuals, providing taxation and accounting solutions. He also has extensive experience in numerous types of accounting software.Max enjoys cooking, wine tasting, embracing the cold and visiting the snow and loves spending time with his little family.Jessie began working in the accounting industry in 2015, after graduating from Mirani State High School in 2014. She completed her Bachelor of Accounting degree through CQ University in 2018 and is currently studying towards attaining her CPA.
Jessie excels in the preparation of Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements, Income Tax Returns and Financial statements and is experienced in various types of accounting software.
She enjoys travelling, loves the natural beauty Mackay has to offer and can’t wait to learn more within the accounting industry.
Emily graduated school in 2011 and has primarily worked as a bookkeeper and finance assistant. In 2017, she relocated to Brisbane for a year to work for a bookkeeping company, also having numerous clients in Sydney.
In June 2019, Emily completed a dual degree being Bachelor of Business (Management) and Bachelor of Accounting and commenced her career with DGL to expand her knowledge in Taxation and Accounting.
She is a passionate NRL follower (Storm supporter), loves spending time with family and friends and travelling with her husband, Brandon.
Bree-Anna moved to Mackay in 2016 and has primarily worked as a finance officer and accountant. In 2017, she completed her Bachelor of Business (Management) and is currently working towards finalising her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).
Bree-Anna has worked alongside various small business and individual clients during her time in the finance and accounting industry. She joined the team at DGL to gain further experience in the accounting industry.
She enjoys travelling with her husband and spending time with family and friends.
Lena has several years Administration experience and with a high interest for Accounting, she is currently studying a Bachelor of Accounting at Central Queensland University. She is also completing her studies to become a Justice of the Peace.
Lena is a guru at liaising with the ATO, ABR, banks and other businesses within our network. Her friendly approachable nature sees her addressing all enquiries from clients and team members with ease.
Lena is a Mackay local and outside of work enjoys Paddle Boarding and travelling with her Fiancé.
Sheree commenced her career as a trainee accountant and completed a Bachelor of Business with CQ University in 2007. She became a CPA in 2010 when she worked as a senior accountant in Sydney.
Developing a passion for small business, Sheree became a director of a boutique in Mackay. Enjoying the marketing and customer service components of business, she pursued a role in marketing for DGL, which she loves!
Sheree now resides in Sydney and works remotely for the firm. She loves to travel with her husband and 2 little girls.
With 20 years’ experience in bookkeeping, administration and Children’s Services, Amy joins the DGL Team with an extensive list of skills. She has also worked in voluntary roles and with not-for-profit organisations and is now studying her Cert 4 in Accounting.
Amy excels in organisation and is a lady of many hats in the DGL office. She addresses all tasks diligently and is always willing to assist our clients and team.
Amy has volunteered with Guides for the past 5 years, enjoys camping, exploring and loves to travel the world.
With over 10 years’ experience in administration and accounting services, Kelly is highly skilled in a wide range of taxation administration services.
She excels in liaising with the ATO, ABR, and other professional services, and is exceptionally efficient in preparing documents and applications on behalf of our clients and team members.
To wind down at the end of a busy day, Kelly enjoys a hit of tennis, and some of Mackay’s local trivia competitions. She also loves travelling around the world with her husband.
Annalyse graduated in 2015 from Pioneer State High School and previously worked in Real Estate as a Property Manager Assistant developing a wide range of administration, organisation and communication skills.
Annalyse enjoys interacting with clients and liaising with our network of professionals. She addresses all tasks with a ‘can do’ attitude and is always happy to help!
Being a Mackay local, she loves being at the beach and enjoys going to the gym and keeping fit. In her spare time, Annalyse also loves to travel.
Kiraleigh is highly skilled in administration and has over 8 years' experience. She loves being the face of DGL Accountants and the first point of contact to meet and greet our clients.
Kira is proficient in liaising with our network of professional services and excels in preparing documents and applications on behalf of our clients and team members. She is always willing to roll up her sleeves and assist wherever possible.
Kira enjoys being out in the sun at any of our beautiful beaches and loves playing and teaching the piano.
